Elogbooks is a key component of Knight Frank’s property management’s integrated systems platform ensuring that all statutory maintenance documentation is both recorded and carried out by our service providers in accordance with the required deadlines, this in turn serves to ensure that our internal KPI compliance standards are met on a month to month basis in support of our own internal health and safety management requirements.
From a reactive perspective the system’s core function is to allow FM’s to log in a site specific manner all reactive tasks which may include health and safety issues arising from both the Facilities Management site Inspections and the statutory health and safety inspections, one of the key benefits is the portability of this system enabling our facilities team to report ‘on the spot’ any health and safety risks observed on site therefore helping them to reduce the number of accidents on sites. Elogbooks has also assisted our teams ensuring all statutory compliance tasks are closed with full/transparent detail attached this transparency has been met by an extremely positive response during our BSI external audits when reviewing our ISO45001 accreditation standards. In addition this system has proved to be excellent in ensuring that all service providers can see all health and safety documentation before attending site, an example being the means to access site specific reports online such as Asbestos Registers.
One of the other key benefits of Elogbooks is that it has a direct API link with our core health and safety compliance system therefore allowing information to pass through both systems either way to allow our facilities management team to both review and react to all documentation when responding to any health and safety observations and their associated risks irrespective of which system the originated from.
